Daytona International Speedway officials announced that all grandstand seats for the historic 50th Running of the 2008 Daytona 500 have been sold. While all grandstand seats are sold out, fans can still purchase infield tickets for “The Great American Race”, scheduled for Feb. 17. In addition to infield tickets, fans can still experience the festivities of other exciting events surrounding the historic 50th running of the Daytona 500 by purchasing tickets to other exciting DIRECTV Speedweeks events including in February: 9th: 30th Annual Budweiser Shootout 14th: 50th Gatorade Duel At Daytona 15th: 9th annual Chevy Silverado 250 Truck Series race 16th: 50th annual Camping World 300 Presented by Chevy Nationwide Series race Recording its earliest sellout of the event in modern history, Speedway President Robin Braig said, “The anticipation of the 50th running of the Daytona 500 - NASCAR’s biggest, richest and most prestigious race - has been at a fever-pitch level throughout the year.
