Tissot to reward Top 10 Nextel Cup drivers Timepieces

Swiss watch brand Tissot, the Official Timekeeper and Official Watch for NASCAR, continues to show its strong affiliation to the world of motorsports and is once again participating in NASCAR’s Victory Lap on Wednesday, November 28th, when NASCAR’s top 10 drivers drive their stock cars through New York City’s Times Square. Following Victory Lap, Tissot will take part in the watch presentation at the Hard Rock Caf? and will award the top 10 Nextel Cup Series drivers each with an engraved PRS516 NASCAR 2007 Limited Edition watch. Jimmie Johnson won ten races in 2007 and is the Nextel Cup Series champion for the second year in a row. A new tradition has started as he will once again be bestowed with a unique timepiece from Tissot. This year he will be presented with the Bridgeport which is steeped in the finest of Swiss watch making traditions and features an 18K Gold bezel, chronograph, and decorated rotor. The latest technological features and stylish design from Tissot is embodied in the PRS516 NASCAR Limited 2007 Limited Edition. Retail price is $1,295. As part of Tissot’s involvement with Champion’s Week, branded Tissot timekeeping scoring clocks will be placed at strategic high-traffic pit stop points around midtown Manhattan.
